Where Imagination Takes Center Stage
About the Noraverse Creative Studio
In the Noraverse, imagination doesn't just live, it performs. From specializing in professional costume design for theatres, cruise ships, circus productions, dance studios, and performers, to live entertainment and hand-on creative classes, our South Florida studio is a space where ideas become reality. We proudly work with fellow designers, artists, and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community with inclusive programs that ensure everyone has a place to create, perform, and belong.

Founder & Designer:
Lenora Taylor Nikitin
Lenora Nikitin is the creative force behind the Noraverse—a costume designer whose work blends theatrical magic with masterful craftsmanship. With decades of experience in theater, cruise entertainment, and cirque productions, she is known for creating costumes that are as functional as they are unforgettable.
A recipient of the Carbonell Award and the Silver Palm Award for Outstanding Costume Design, and a Henry Hewes Award nominee for her Broadway work on Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy, Lenora has built a reputation for transforming ideas into living, breathing characters. Her designs have appeared on Broadway, national tours, major cruise lines, regional theaters, and circus productions across the country.
Lenora approaches every project with the belief that the body is a canvas and the costume is part of the storytelling. Her work often combines traditional sewing with body painting, airbrushing, wig and makeup design, and custom accessories—from hats and shoes to jewelry and props—resulting in fully realized characters from head to toe. Every detail is considered, down to the final stitch and sparkle.
Her journey began humbly as a wardrobe attendant at Busch Gardens, eventually growing into a career that spans ballet, opera, children’s theater, Broadway, national tours, and international cruise productions. Over the years, she has designed and fabricated costumes for companies such as Virgin Voyages, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Line, Slow Burn Theatre, Cirque Dreams, and numerous regional theaters.
Years spent designing for physically demanding cirque productions shaped her signature approach: costumes that move, stretch, shine, and perform just as boldly as the artists wearing them. This deep understanding of performance needs allows her to create pieces that are both visually striking and built to withstand the realities of the stage.
From initial concept to final fitting, Lenora leads teams of skilled cutters, drapers, stitchers, and decorators, guiding each project from sketch to spotlight. Her creative range knows no limits—working with everything from feathers and foam to leather, latex, sculpture, and unconventional materials to bring even the most imaginative ideas to life.
At heart, Lenora is a storyteller with a needle and thread, dedicated to helping performers feel powerful, comfortable, and completely transformed the moment they step into costume.

Who We Are
Our story
The Noraverse began with a single thread and a very big dream—to create a place where creativity feels magical, welcoming, and full of possibility. What started as a professional costume studio has grown into a vibrant world where artists, performers, students, and dreamers of every age can gather to learn, create, and step into the spotlight. Built on decades of experience in theater, cruise entertainment, and live performance, the Noraverse is more than a studio; it’s a creative playground, a classroom, a stage, and a community where imagination is always in style.
At the heart of the Noraverse is a deep commitment to inclusion and access to the arts. We believe creativity should sparkle for everyone, which is why we are building programs that open the doors of sewing, costume design, visual arts, and live performance to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Through inclusive classes, hands-on workshops, and welcoming spaces, we’re creating a world where every student, artist, and performer feels seen, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
As the Noraverse continues to grow, our vision stretches beyond a single studio. We are building a creative home that includes a sewing and arts academy, a school for Deaf students, professional costume services, and a lively hub for performances, events, and hands-on learning. Our goal is to become a joyful, inspiring pillar of the South Florida arts community—a place where children discover their talents, designers bring their boldest ideas to life, and audiences experience the magic of live entertainment. The Noraverse isn’t just a space; it’s a world where creativity shines bright, community comes first, and every person has a place to belong.
